Winnie Wangari Maina, a thirty five year old woman in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu accused of stabbing her husband to death after a night of partying has been arrested. The couple is said to have quarreled much after the night out. Her 33-year-old husband, Wycliffe Muriithi Miriti, died at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret while undergoing treatment. Eldoret High Court Deputy Registrar Rosemary Onkoba allowed the police to detain her for seven days pending investigations and also take the suspect to hospital for a mental assessment before she is formally charged.
