Embu twins disappear from home after home after parents enrolled them in different schools. A family in Embu is in distress after the disappearance of 15 year-old twin brothers Leon Macharia and Ryan Mwenda. Their mother Naisera Muthoni believe that the disappearance is as a result of rebellion for enrolling them in different schools.Leon Macharia and his twin brother Ryan Mwenda, were form two students at Moi High School Mbiruri and Kangaru Boys High School respectively. According to their mother Muthoni, the two went missing as she was preparing to drop them to school. “They were to report to their respective schools, and so we woke up and started preparing; ironed clothes, ate lunch, then I entered my room to prepare, but when I came out, I found they had left all their school belongings behind and vanished.” Muthoni said.Her attempts to look for them in the neighborhood bore no fruits but she was told by Boda-boda riders in the area that they were seen asking to be dropped to Embu Town Bus-terminus where they would pick a bus to Nairobi their mother believing that the Ksh.1,000 she had given each for their pocket money is helping them move around. According to Muthoni, the decision to separate them was to help bring out and develop individual character and personality given they have grew together doing everything together since their childhood.
