This suspension was disclosed in an internal memo issued by CA&#8217;s chairperson, Mary Mungai, on Monday evening. In response to Chiloba&#8217;s suspension, Mr. Christopher Wambua has been designated as the Acting Director General, effective immediately and until further notice. The memo, referencing a Board meeting on September 18, 2023, made this appointment announcement, but it did not provide immediate details regarding the reasons behind Chiloba&#8217;s suspension.
