For example, a drone will be able to transport samples from Chuka hospital to Marimanti hospital in just 20 minutes and return the samples to Chuka for testing within the same time frame. This initiative aims to boost the efficiency of laboratory testing, reducing costs and saving time for local residents. Additionally, Governor Njuki has also announced the upcoming launch of Geo technology to map every household in the county. A dedicated software is already in place for this purpose, and Community Health Promoters will receive training in handling GIS information.
