{"id":12823,"date":"2024-01-25T04:54:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T04:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.getufm.co.ke\/?p=12823"},"modified":"2024-01-25T04:54:09","modified_gmt":"2024-01-25T04:54:09","slug":"man-drowns-while-escaping-arrest-from-assistant-county-commissioner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.getufm.co.ke\/?p=12823","title":{"rendered":"Man drowns while escaping arrest from Assistant County Commissioner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A Kericho man has drowned and died in a river while escaping an arrest from the Assistant County Commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to media reports, the deceased had stolen his mother&#8217;s cow intending to sell it for his own benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His kins realized that their mother&#8217;s cow was missing and started to pursue the thief and it was during the pursuit, they were informed that their brother had been spotted with the cow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They quickly rushed to where their brother had been spotted and caught up with him.
