The decision, which includes both cash bail and an alternative bond, follows legal proceedings in connection with unspecified charges related to Kimathi&#8217;s business operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prosecution had requested an extension of time to complete its investigations into the matter, but the court declined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The court was informed that the investigation team had recorded  statements from 363 witnesses, the majority of whom were victims, and  had received 265 completed P3 forms from the victims, with an additional  30 victims yet to record their statements.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The owner of the business premises in Embakasi, where a devastating gas explosion claimed the lives of more than 10 individuals and left over 300 others injured on a fateful February night, has been granted bail.
