Janet Omollo, a local shop owner, laments the drastic effect on her livelihood, echoing the sentiments of many affected by the closures. Police allegations of criminal activities such as noise disturbances, drug peddling, and violence have led to these closures, leaving many young people jobless and struggling to adapt. With decreased sales reported in complementary businesses, the community faces a challenging economic landscape.
