The family of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla has confirmed that burial arrangements are progressing in accordance with his expressed wishes. Speaking to the media on Friday, April 19, Ogolla’s father, Joel Oketch, revealed that his son had stipulated his desire for a prompt burial within 72 hours in the event of his untimely passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The burial is scheduled to take place on April 21, 2024, at Ogolla’s residence in Ng’iya, Alego Usonga, Siaya County. Ogolla, who had constructed a home situated two kilometers from the family’s residence in Siaya, had made his preferences known.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the family disclosed that Ogolla had intended to commemorate his father’s upcoming 100th birthday on Saturday in Siaya, with plans including attending a church service and hosting a gathering at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
