Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u declared that the National Treasury was in the final stages of preparing the 2024\/2025 Budget Statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consequently, in an announcement, the CS urged Kenyans to provide their feedback on the budget, including proposed taxation measures for the upcoming fiscal year. Kenyans were also prompted to share their ideas on how the government could expedite economic recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Your recommendations should focus on ways to enhance the implementation of Government priority programs within the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) aimed at fostering economic revitalization and inclusive growth. Furthermore, the Treasury highlighted its interest in receiving input on strategies to integrate youth and women into the efforts to accelerate sustainable economic recovery and methods for prudent management of public resources.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
