Speaking during a visit to Mathare, Nairobi, Ruto assured that the funds would be allocated to the 40,000 households evacuated by government agencies such as the Kenya Defence Forces, Kenya Police, and National Youth Service. He emphasized that the money, provided for three months&#8217; rent, would be closely monitored to prevent misappropriation.
