The attack occurred at 4 am on Tuesday when the gangsters raided Osore&#8217;s house. They assaulted him with a panga, rendering him unconscious, and then assaulted his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lambwe East Chief Benard Ouma reported that the gangsters demanded money that Osore had raised through a recent fundraiser to purchase a new motorbike after his previous one was stolen. Osore was taken to Homa Bay County Referral Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. His wife is also receiving treatment at the same hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Osore&#8217;s body is currently at the Homa Bay County Referral Hospital mortuary.
