After reviewing CCTV footage, they saw a man in a black and white striped shirt and black trousers enter the church on Tuesday around 6:30 pm during prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The man proceeded to the upper gallery, then to the altar, took the statue to the upper floor gallery, undressed, and defiled the statue by defecating on it. He then covered the feces with tissue paper and hid the soiled statue under a bench before leaving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kimaiyo stated that the motive is unknown as nothing else was damaged or stolen.
