Authorities suspect he was a victim of a hit-and-run accident along Magadi Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mwangi, a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Technology, was confirmed dead by the university\u2019s Dean of Students, David Obonyo, in an internal memo sent to students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We regret to announce the untimely demise of the late Lameck Mwangi Wambui SST-261-115\/2023, which occurred on Sunday, March 9, 2025, after a fatal road accident,&#8221; Obonyo stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Transport along Magadi Road towards Rongai was brought to a standstill on Monday after students from Multimedia University took to the streets in protest over the death of their colleague, Lameck Wambui Mwangi.
