The soldiers will provide logistical and technical support to ensure the safe demolition of the building, which poses a serious risk to residents and neighboring properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir<\/strong> had earlier confirmed that the building\u2019s <strong>ground floor had already sunk<\/strong>, raising fears of a total collapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The demolition exercise began early on <strong>Wednesday<\/strong> and is expected to take about <strong>eight hours<\/strong> to complete.
