{"id":8292,"date":"2022-07-04T07:03:42","date_gmt":"2022-07-04T07:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.getufm.co.ke\/?p=8292"},"modified":"2022-07-04T07:03:46","modified_gmt":"2022-07-04T07:03:46","slug":"tax-man-is-happy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.getufm.co.ke\/?p=8292","title":{"rendered":"Tax Man is Happy!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has thanked Kenyans for complying with the June 30 deadline of filing returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The taxman, through emails on Saturday, July 2, said taxpayers had been compliant to file their 2021 Income tax returns on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mails were titled \u2018A million emails later&#8230;Thank you!!!\u2019, a tongue-in-cheek reference to complaints of many reminder emails from the taxman to Kenyans in the days leading up to the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKenya Revenue Authority (KRA) would like to thank all taxpayers who took their time to file their annual income tax returns before the deadline. We appreciate Your effort in complying with tax laws.
