But for Ndindiruku residents in Tebere ward, Kirinyaga County, some people burried their loved ones in sacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the villagers, burial expenses have become too high forcing some people to bury their loved ones in sacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, Njeru Ndiga who died after he was attacked by a crocodile, was to be burried in a sack were it not for Tebere MCA elect Peter Karinga, who intervened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;For <a><\/a>us in Ndindiruku, it&#8217;s normal for those who have not joined burial welfare groups (to be buried in sacks); the other day it took me 10 minutes to bury an elderly man after his family failed to meet burial expenses,&#8221; a resident said.
