In June 2022 John Waluke who was then the Mp of Sirisia who was facing graft charges, was cleared and  allowed by the IEBC to vie for the Sirisia MP  .Today the Sirisia member of parliament John Waluke is now headed to jail to serve the 67yrs Prison term slapped on him after High Court denied appeal to put aside the said dramatic corruption case. The cases facing Waluke are said to be one of the most dramatic criminal cases in the history of Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justice Esther Maina dismissed the appeal filed by John Waluke and his business associate Ms Grace Wakhungu  against their conviction and sentencing over the Sh297million maize scandal.
