Interior CS Kithure Kindiki unexpectedly dropped by the Embu Regional Immigration Department to oversee staff, share government initiatives aimed at a comprehensive and lasting makeover of passport and citizenship document processing. Following his visit on Tuesday 13th, Kindiki revealed that numerous unclaimed passports are still held at both the Nyayo House Headquarters and regional offices. He announced that the Government will soon unveil a speedy mandatory effort to ensure all available passports are collected within a set timeframe, with details to be disclosed next week.
