Roots Party presidential aspirant George Wajackoyah has been cleared to contest for the presidency in the August elections by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
Speaking at the Bomas of Kenya IEBC boss Wafula Chebukati said that Wajackoyah submitted the required number of supporters’ signatures from 24 counties.
Wajakoyah had earlier been turned away by body after submitting a list of supporters from 17 counties instead of the required 24.
Wajackoyah in his manifesto , he will legalize bhang, appoint eight Prime Ministers, suspend the Constitution for six months and implement a four-day workweek from Monday to Thursday.
He argues that this will help bring families closer together, create a 24-hour economy, and allow Muslims to worship on Friday.
