A woman has taken Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to court over accusations of neglecting their 15-year-old daughter. The woman claims Sonko has refused to take his parental responsibility and now seeks further intervention from the court.The case has been filed at the magistrate court in Ngong, Kajiado county. The woman through Lawyer Dan Okemwa wants Sonko compelled to pay monthly upkeep of Sh448,450.The woman claims to have met sonko in 1999 where by the got involved in a love affair and according to her their daughter was born in 2007.The mother claims that that the daughter has now been adversely affected by the absence of her father figure in her life.
