Deputy President William Ruto says his focus is on empowering the ordinary Kenyans. Ruto faulted his competitors whom he claims want to change the constitution to allocate positions for themselves.
“Our competitors have told us, theirs is about changing the constitution. That is why their running mate will be spearheading the changing of the constitution. On our side, we have said our running mate Rigathi Gachagua will spearhead the changing of the economy of Kenya,” Ruto said.
“Theirs is about the Mandela moment, ours is about the mama mboga moment. Theirs is about sharing power, we are about empowering every citizen of the Republic of Kenya,” he stated.
