In his speech in Pretoria, Museveni covered several issues, including the period 55 years ago during which he joined South Africa’s ANC underground movement in Tanzania. But while he was urging businesspeople to come to his country to trade, the veteran leader said: “Ugandans are lazy, even a fool can survive in Uganda.” Did Museveni do more harm than good with that statement?
