Uhuru Attends Ocean conference

President Uhuru Kenyatta has called for urgent global action to address challenges facing oceans, seas and the marine environment saying the world needs to upgrade from proposals on the subject to tangible interventions. Kenyatta was Speaking in Portugal where he chaired opening plenary sessions on the second united nations conference. He also noted that the solutions to challenges facing ocean life,lie with the people noting that if managed sustainably, marine resources are able to produce as much as six times more food and generate forty more times of renewable energy.
