A 35 year old man is fighting for his life at Thika level Five hospital after he was attacked by his father for uprooting his avocado trees.The product is becoming a hot cake as it is increasingly turning to be the highest selling one. In the incident that occurred Saturday December 16 in Kenol, Murang’a county, George Mwangi Ng’ang’a, 35, had walked into his father’s farm and cut down the trees which bear the rear to find tropical delicacy, much to the chagrin of the old man.When his 80-year-old father confronted him over his decision to cut down the trees without his consent, the man became defiant and murmured in a manner likely to suggest that his father’s days below the sun were numbered, therefore he shouldn’t make decisions affecting the future of the farm.According to the old man, at this point, the furious octogenarian reached for a machete and went after the son.
