Children in Seisei village, Baragoi in Samburu North had to slaughter and roast puppy ‘to beat hunger pangs’ as draught and starvation ravages the region.
According to area Chief Tony Lesokoyo, the incident happened early this week, when several children between the ages of four and eight years slaughtered a dog, roasted its meat, and consumed it.
Lesokoyo revealed that after receiving the news he headed to the village which has 140 households and confirmed that three children had indeed consumed dog meat.
