This boy from a little known village school has made Kenya proud by scooping two medals in the East Africa School Games which are ongoing in Kigali Rwanda.Patrick Murimi, a form four student from Iriani Secondary School in Mukothima Tharaka North sub county of Tharaka nIthi county has today won a gold medal in high jump and a bronze medal in triple jump.He is now focused on winning another medal in long jump which will take place tomorrow 24th August.In the national competitions he was the best athlete after he scooped position one in high jump, long jump and triple jump.The school principal Mr. George Kiragu wishes to hold a welcoming ceremony for the boy as he comes back to the country next week at a date not yet identified and calls for well wishers to help facilitate the same.
