KWS officers visit a man who was attacked by hippo in Kamanuaki

KWS officers visit scene where Kamanyaki man was attacked by hippopotamus along River Tana after MP Susan reported the case to them for compensation to the family.The MP notes that KWS compensatory policy requires report to be filed before 48 hours lapsing, failure to which compensation may not be made.She is however hopeful that the family of the man who is recuperating at St. Orsora Matiri Mission Hospital with a broken limb will be compensated.
