Governor Muthomi Njuki officially launched the County’s fertilizer distribution program at Nkondi and Mukuuni Cereal depots, with notable attendees including NCPB chair Samuel Mbae Ragwa and other officials.During the event in Mukuuni, Governor Njuki highlighted the fruitful collaboration between his administration and the national government, emphasized the importance of automating farmer registration, and mentioned the upcoming County Industrial Park, which is expected to boost the economic prospects of hardworking farmers in Tharaka Nithi.He also encouraged farmers in the County to make use of the government’s subsidized fertilizer to enhance their crop yields and urged them to prepare their farms adequately in anticipation of the upcoming El-nino rains.
