In the assessment conducted by Timely Kenya between the 1st and 9th of this month, Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza is positioned at the 40th spot in terms of performance among the 47 county governors. Among the governors from the Mt Kenya region, she ranks 8th.
On the other hand, Governor Njuki of Tharaka-Nithi is rated as the 3rd best performing governor in the entire country and holds the top position among his counterparts from the Mt Kenya region in the same survey.
