He received requests from fellow politician Mithika Linturi and Meru’s leadership to postpone due to the current political situation, but he emphasized that the pressing issues of unemployment and poverty cannot wait, and it’s crucial to address them promptly. Kuria also mentioned that similar challenges have arisen in other counties where he launched industrial parks, but those events were successful with the support of county leaders. He urged the conflicting leaders in Meru to set aside their differences for the sake of the county’s development.
