Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria implored the Mount Kenya area to exercise restraint in their efforts to remove their governors amidst the ongoing dispute between Meru County MCAs and Governor Kawira Mwangaza. Using the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the Trade minister emphasized the importance of regional unity for fostering growth in the Mt. Kenya region.He encouraged Meru residents to defer their ambitious plan to impeach their governor and allow Mwangaza to establish a foundation for growth and development that would benefit future generations. Kuria also noted that in the previous term, Kiambu County from the Mt. Kenya region had made history by successfully impeaching a governor, and in this term, Meru County aimed to achieve the same distinction.
