Moses Kuria has been moved from Trade Investments and Industry Ministry to Public Service Perfomance and Industey

Moses Kuria was appointed as the Public Service CS on October 4, 2023, moving from his previous role in the Trade Ministry, where he was succeeded by Rebecca Miano. This reshuffle, initiated by President William Ruto, also involved expanding the portfolio of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi to include the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. Additionally, Alfred Mutua assumed control of the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, and Alice Wahome and Zachary Njeru swapped positions in the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, and Urban Development. Peninah Malonza was transferred from the Tourism department to the Ministry of East Africa Community, the ASALS, and East Africa Development. President Ruto stated that these changes align with Article 152(5)(a) of the Constitution and come after Mudavadi had previously hinted at possible Cabinet secretary reassignments, nearly three weeks prior.
