There is an outbreak of Conjunctivitis disease, commonly known as Red Eye Disease in Mombasa.The disease which can be caused by allergens, viruses or bacteria can be identified by observing the redness of an eye or noting the itchiness a patient has.Kenyans are advised to observe high hygiene as a mitigation measure. This includes washing hands for at least 20 seconds, avoiding touching the eyes and faces, avoiding handshakes, and refraining from sharing personal items.
