Yesterday President William Ruto expressed anger at a group of unruly youth who disrupted Governor Kawira Mwangaza’s speech in Kiutine, Meru County. Despite Mwangaza’s attempts to restore order, the youth continued to heckle her, prompting Ruto to step in. The president also urged the youth to wait for the next general elections if they want to replace leaders they believe are underperforming, emphasizing the importance of allowing elected officials sufficient time to fulfill their duties.

“Siasa hii ya makelele mimi sitaki. Hii ni siasa mbaya. Nataka niwapangie kazi ya ajira. Mambo ya kukuja kupiga kelele kwa mkutano mimi sitaki,” said the visibly irked Ruto.
