A man nicknamed Kakamega is currently held by the police in Kipkelion, Kericho County, for beating his son to death.
The alleged reason was the son’s excessive drinking and reluctance to go back to university for the new academic term. According to locals, Kakamega discovered his son intoxicated upon returning home, leading to the reported assault.
