For the past three years, a 29-year-old man working as a caretaker in a private school in Kariobangi, Nairobi, has allegedly been posing as the spouse of Kilifi Principal Magistrate, Ivy Wasike. Cryspinus Malenya Inyama, hailing from Khayega Sub-location in Kakamega County, faced charges of impersonation and cybersquatting before Kilifi Senior Resident Magistrate Daniel Sitati on Tuesday. It is claimed that he has financially benefited and received other favors since 2020 by soliciting money from the Principal Magistrate’s colleagues, friends, and relatives, using a Safaricom line formerly associated with the Magistrate.
