Police in Limuru, Kiambu County are searching for a suspect who stabbed a teacher to death at her home in Kamirithu.
51-year-old Irene Ng’endo was a teacher at Thigio Ndeiya Primary School and is said to have been attacked at her home around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Neighbours found her in a critical condition and their efforts to rush her to hospital were in vain.
he family and friends of the teacher are asking detectives to speed up the investigation to bring the culprit to book before they lay their loved one to rest.
Area police commander Philip Mwania told media that they have found two phones said to have been used in the act.
