Reportedly, the businessman disappeared on Friday, February 16, before being found dumped in the Kathita River, leaving his family and friends in shock. Described as a prominent figure in the area, his untimely demise has stirred considerable distress among the local community.
Reports unveiled that the man bore strangulation marks on his neck, suggesting he may have been the victim of foul play before being disposed of in the river. His remains were then transferred to the local mortuary pending an autopsy.
A member of the family said detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) were actively conducting investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
As investigations continue, police are calling upon the public to come forward with any crucial information which may lead to the arrest of the culprits.
