The president of Uganda, his excellency Hon. Yoweri Museveni has proposed on unifying the East African contries to create one sovereign state, claiming that it will improve relations among the nations in the region.
Having been the longest serving president among EAC states, he streses that EAC should have been formed in 1963 then we would avoid the problems we are facing now, by mentioning incidents like the reign of Id Amin Dada saying it could have been avoided.
He argues that creating a one country government in EAC is essential for the protection and prosperity of the region’s populace.
