The Kenya Meteorological Department has revealed that the Highlands West regions of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and the Rift Valley region will experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms whilst in the Highlands East regions of the rift valley including Nairobi will experience moderate rainfall.
Kenyans were urged to be cautious during this period and drivers were warned against slippery roads.
