During this mental awareness month , the National Alliance on Mental Illness ‘ Take the Moment’ campaign encourages us to empathize, have open talks , being understanding and to share resources so as to support persons and families on their mental wellness journey.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others and make healthy choices.
To improve our mental well-being we need to adhere to a lot of things such as; try to relax and reduce stress, find ways to learn and be creative, spend time in nature, connect with others, look after your physical health and try to improve your sleep.
