A school in Mombasa county its gates were blocked by two school buses denying 1500 pupils access to enter into their classrooms. It has not yet been revealed the people behind the incident nor the reason to do so.
This is not the only incident that occurred to this school as there was an invasion by armed robbers who broke the school’s perimeter wall in the school in March 2024. According to residents, the incident that occurred in March was a way of scaring the occupants of land to evacuate by a member of a wealthy family who claimed to own the land.
The residents have called upon the National Land Commission to intervene since they reached out to the county offices who are yet respond. They have therefore asked the police officers to intervene this incident before it escalates since it will affect the pupils’ academics.
