Defense CS Aden Duale has restricted all politicians from using KDF choppers for their political matters. He emphasized that the choppers will strictly be used in missions to safeguard the country.
Regarding the Former Chief Of KDF General Francis Ogolla’s death he stated the investigations are ongoing and that they will receive answers soon whether his accident was due to mechanical difficulties or something else. He claimed that he used the same helicopter as Francis Ogolla more than 15 times and did not face any challenges.
He dismissed all the claims that the military equipment are worn out. He added that only him and CS Kithure Kindiki are the only people allowed to use the military assets when carrying out operations in the North Rift Region and other insecure areas.
