Gatundu South MP Gabriel Kagombe will be detained after the court announced on Monday, June 3, due to being involved in a shooting incident.
He was arrested on Friday in connection with the shooting of a bodaboda rider in Thika, Kiambu county. The ordeal was caused about by an argument that arose between two political parties that intensified resulting to physical alteration among the members which led to a resident being shot dead.
When attending Machakos law courts he was accompanied by DCI who cooperated with security officers to ensure peace at the court to prevent his supporters from wrecking chaos. During his hearing he pleaded not guilty thus his detention until Friday, June 7.
