A female Principal Magistrate Monica Kivuta was shot and injured at the Makadara Law Courts on Thursday. According to initial reports, the magistrate was shot by a police officer. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for emergency medical attention.
The officer who allegedly shot the magistrate was subsequently shot dead. This violent incident caused a significant disruption to Thursday’s proceedings at the law courts.
Detectives are currently on the scene investigating the matter. The motive for the abrupt shooting remains unclear.
