Kalonzo Musyoka, a prominent leader within the Azimio coalition, expressed his concerns about the nation’s current state and the challenges he faced in attending the NADCO meeting at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) this morning.
“I didn’t find it easy to come here this morning, one reason being the barricading of the route to KICC. Our country is at a crossroads,” Musyoka remarked.
During the NADCO discussions, Musyoka highlighted that the high cost of living was the coalition’s top priority. However, he noted that Kimani and his team had argued that addressing the cost of living was the government’s responsibility, not the opposition’s.
“I hope in light of recent developments, my friend Kimani would have revised that thought,” Musyoka added, referencing the recent riots that have resulted in the loss of 41 young Kenyans.
Musyoka’s statements underscore the urgent need for collaborative efforts to address the pressing issues facing the country, including the high cost of living and public unrest.
