Public participation on the impeachment process against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua went on on Friday morning across all 47 counties in Kenya despite court order that directed the National Assembly to conduct the exercise at the Sub-County level. The petetion was filed by various leaders demanding the removal of DP Gachagua, where 291 MPs supported the move and the speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula called on the public participation of the same on friday 4th Oct.
Gachagua filed the petation blocking his impeachment process to the High Court arguing that it was uncostitutional.
