Tharaka-Nithi County Woman Representative Susan Ngugi Mwindu has expressed strong support for Prof. Kithure Kindiki as a potential deputy president of Kenya, describing his appointment as essential for justice and democracy. “Not having Kithure Kindiki as the deputy president of Kenya will be killing democracy,” stated Mwindu, highlighting the significance of Kindiki’s representation for Tharaka-Nithi County and particularly the Tharaka community.

Mwindu argued that Kindiki’s ascension to deputy president would help address long-standing injustices faced by the region, adding that his leadership could provide a voice for communities historically overlooked in Kenya’s political landscape.
