President William Ruto has praised the Supreme Court for its unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and guiding lower courts. Speaking at the Supreme Court buildings in Nairobi during the celebration of 12 years since the court’s establishment, Ruto commended the institution’s firmness in handling complex constitutional issues and emphasized its role in ensuring that Kenyans feel secure in their rights and that due process remains paramount.

“It is, therefore, quite fair to say that the Court has stood as a faithful custodian of our Constitution, a defender of fundamental rights, and a pillar of democracy,” President Ruto stated, underscoring the judiciary’s essential contribution to Kenya’s democratic framework.
