President William Ruto will be departing the country for the second time in under a week as he prepares for a significant meeting in South Sudan. Presidential Press Secretary Lily Martin Manyiel Ayuel has confirmed that President Ruto will provide an update to President Salva Kiir on the Tumaini Initiative. The initiative, mediated by the Kenyan government, aims to facilitate dialogue between the South Sudanese government and opposition factions yet to sign peace agreements.
